The Chemistry of Life 3D – The Invisible Within Us
What do all living things have in common? How tiny are molecules? What happens in our cells after we eat?
In "Chemistry of Life – The Invisible Within Us", we find the answers to these and many other questions. The show reveals chemical processes that are essential to all life on Earth. We shrink down to just a few nanometers and journey deep into the cells of plants and humans to explore the chemistry of life. Along the way, we discover why molecules can't be seen, even with the most powerful light microscopes, and get to know some of the tools that modern research uses to uncover more about our invisible inner world.
"Chemistry of Life – The Invisible Within Us" brings the biomolecular world to life through cutting-edge molecular visualizations, making it more tangible and accessible. The production focuses on linking life-sustaining processes – breathing, eating, and thinking – to the biochemical activities occurring in the body's cells.
With dynamic animations based on real research data and the immersive dome format, we experience the molecular world in an entirely new way and gain a deeper understanding of the invisible universe within us all.
Admission: €13.50, reduced €9.00. Duration: approx. 55 minutes. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
